Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal distributed 6 no. of Multi-Purpose Flour Mills to tribal women trainees from 4-TSP adopted villages (i.e., Dorvarivempally, Eshwaragudem of Kothaguda Mandal and Chakruthanda, Ootla of Gudur Mandal). Each flour mill was distributed to a group of 5 tribal women who had attended skill training on “Value addition to Millets” conducted by KVK during 2022-23. During the programme, Dr. S. Malathi, Programme Coordinator addressed the gathering and requested the participants to utilize this asset and start micro entrepreneurship in group approach at village level and -later it may be expanded. Smt V. Nalini Narayana, DPM, DRDA-SERP, Mahabubabad participated as Chief Guest for the programme and suggested to utilize this opportunity to supply snacks to the government residential schools, colleges to expand business as well as for becoming self reliant in group approach. She also explained about fssi branding for prepared value added products as well as available subsides, loans to start micro entrepreneurship to the trainees. KVK, Malyal staff Dr. N. Kishore Kumar, SMS (Extension), Dr. E. Rambabu, SMS (Hort.), Sri B. Kranthi Kumar, SMS (Crop Production.) and 30 tribal women trainees participated in the programme.
