Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanthi was celebrated at Regional Agricultural Research station, Palem on 14h April, 2024 to commemorate the 133rd birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. The programme was started with garlanding the photo of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar by Dr. S. Maheswaramma, Scientist (Pl.Br.). Later, the teaching, Non-teaching and students of Agricultural Polytechnic, Palem offered the floral tributes to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.

While addressing the gathering Dr. S. Maheswaramma, Scientist (Pl.Br.) expressed that, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar inspired the Buddhist Movement and campaigned against social discrimination and also supported the rights of women and labour. He was independent India’s first law minister, the principal architect of the Constitution of India.
