KVK, Palem conducted a Field Visit to FLD on Ridge gourd new variety Arka Prasan & Diagnostic field visit to vegetable crops at Gorita(V), Timmajipet(M), Nagar kurnool dist on 26.08.2023. Dr. Adhi Shankar, SMS (Horticulture), KVK, Palem Data recorded on Arka prasan variety performance. suggested plant protection measure to control Downy mildew as spray Ridomil MZ@ 2.5g/L twice at 8-10days interval. Suggested fertigation schedule, foliar spray of Micro nutri mix@5g+ Multi K @5g/ L for healthy crop. Explained about self seed production of Arka Prasan variety. conducted diagnostic field visit and observed spodoptera damage in bitter gourd. Suggested to spray Emamectin benzoate@ 0.3g per litre of water and installation of spodo pheromone traps 10-15 per acre. In this visit Dr. Adhi Shankar, SMS (Horticulture), & 05 farmers were participated.
