Panchayat Bhawan and Ra. Uma. Seed kit distribution was organized in Vidyalaya, Loira and U.P. Vidyalaya and Hunder of rural women Brahmins. Altogether 94 seed kits were distributed in village Loyra and 100 seed kits were distributed to women in village Brahmo Ki Inder.
Kit distribution was done by Director Central Agricultural Institute Bhubaneswar Dr. Mridula Devi under Har Ghar Sabzi Har Ghar Swasthya Abhiyan. The kit included ten types of vegetables like okra, brinjal, bottle gourd, tomato, pumpkin, cucumber, bitter gourd, green chilli and guar pod seeds. Extreme enthusiasm was seen in the women of both the villages and the women were assured that they would grow vegetables at home without chemical fertilizers and include vegetables in their daily diet. Dr. Sudha Babel, Dr. Hemu Rathore, Dr. Kusum Sharma and Charu Nagar were present in the program. Mrs. Bhaumitra Suthar from Loyra village and Mrs. Rekha Chaubisa from village Brahmin’s Hunder had special support in the programme.
