The Punjab Agricultural University’s ‘ Inter-College Youth Festival’, organized under the guidance of Dr Nirmal Jaura, Director, Students Welfare, commenced with great enthusiasm on November 1, 2023, and entered into its third exciting day today.

The event features spirited teams from the five constituent colleges: the College of Agriculture (COA), the College of Horticulture and Forestry (COHF), the College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology (COAET), the College of Basic Sciences and Humanities (COBSH), and the College of Community Science (COCS). Additionally, two outstation institutes, including the Institutes of Agriculture (IOA) at Gurdaspur and Bathinda, and one outstation college, the College of Agriculture (COA) in Ballowal Saunkhri, all vying for today’s top spots in a range of competitions, including mehndi, on-the-spot painting, shabad gayan (solo and group), calligraphy, and debate.

Speaking about the day’s events, Chief Guest Dr TS Riar, Additional Director Communication, PAU, who was also the judge, said that the youth fest had engaged students with anticipation and team spirit throughout the day and that it was a pleasure to watch the participants’ enthusiasm in extracurricular activities.
