Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Bathinda took a proactive step in raising awareness about crop residue management among school students during a programme held at village Jeond on October 20, 2023. The event featured engaging activities such as nuked natak (street play), essay writing, and poster-making competitions focused on crop residue management to sensitize students about environmental pollution.

To encourage and recognize student participation, awards were presented to the winners of these competitions. A rally dedicated to crop residue management was organized, symbolizing the collective commitment to addressing this pressing issue.

The event was an educational platform where KVK Scientists shared insights and practical knowledge about paddy straw management techniques, emphasizing eco-friendly practices. They also discussed various initiatives and activities undertaken by KVK to benefit the farming community.
