ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Mukteswar campus organized Kisan Goshti on the theme “Health management of livestock animals” on 07.02.2024 under the Scheduled Caste Sub Plan (SCSP) for the farmers and livestock owners of Chausali, Darima, and Darmoli villages of Nainital district. A total of one seventy four (n=174) farmers and livestock owners have participated in the Kisan Goshti. Input distribution in terms of temperate fruits saplings [Apple (n=550), Plum (n=350), Pear (n=550), Peach (n=2700)], pruning scissor (n=174), knapsack sprayer (n=90) for farming, 30 metre – long irrigation pipe (n=174), Urea (300 Kg) and NPK (300 Kg) fertilizer for 60 beneficiaries, medicinal kit for livestock animals (n=174) were provided to the beneficiaries. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Karam Chand, Dr. Nitish Singh Kharayat, Dr. Madhusoodan A.P., Dr. Nidhi Sharma, and Dr. Ashutosh Fular Scientist(s) ICAR-IVRI, Mukteswar campus.
