Awareness programme cum demonstration on incorporation of Dhaincha preceding to Rice was conducted by DAATTC, ARS, Tornala at Chittapur (V), Dubbak (M), Siddipet district on 18.07.2023. Sri. J. Vijay, Coordinator briefed about the importance and insisted to grow green manure crops like Daincha preceding to Kharif Rice. Dr. Ch. Pallavi, Scientist explained about incorporation of green manure crops helps in enrichment of soil fertility and organic matter. Dr. N. Sainath, Scientist, ARS, Tornala explained about the fertilizer usage in paddy and reduction of chemical fertilizer in Rice due to green manuring and 20 farmers were participated.
