As per the guidelines of UGC regulations on curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009, vide. Lr. No. F.1-15/2009 Anti-Ragging cell and Prevention of Ragging Menace in college of PJTSAU, Agricultural Engineering Polytechnic, Kandi, Sangareddy organised Fresher’s Day on 09.11.2023. The fresher’s day celebrations commenced at 3.00 PM by Agricultural Engineering Polytechnic (AEP) students, at college Auditorium by a warm welcome by second year students to all the dignitaries and chief guest Dr. G. Padmaja, Director, Polytechnic, PJTSAU. The celebrations inaugurated by lightning the lamp and commenced with PJTSAU University song. Miss Meghna Diploma Second year student hosted the freshers were formally welcomed into the AEP family. Dr. G. Manoj Kumar, AD, CAE and Principal, AEP addressed the gathering with remarks on importance of the event and urged the students to maintain discipline and decorum and also reported brief report on the AEP regarding facilities, admission, pass out and placement of the passed students and advised to utilize the resources available in the campus for their career growth.
Chief Guest of the function Dr. G. Padmaja, Director Polytechnic, PJTSAU in her address conveyed best wishes to the newly entered fresher’s by recalling memories when she joined B Sc (Ag.) at College of Agricultural, Rajendranagar. She motived the students regarding preparing for the competitive exams. She also stressed students regarding education as well as sports. She felicitated to the ICAR-JRF rankers from College of Agricultural Engineering, Kandi, Sangareddy students. On this occasion the felicitation done to the chief guest Dr. G. Padmaja for her superannuated on 30.11.2023. The programme was followed by hosting the cultural programmes by the students with a focus on cultural development. The celebrations are closed with announcement of Mr. & Miss. Fresher and performer and programme has come to end by binding vote of thanks by the Dr. N. Hari, OISA.
