On October 10, 2023, Dr. Meenu Srivastava gave this statement in a dialogue program on “Like mind: like body” organized by the College of Community and Applied Sciences of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur, on the occasion of World Mental Health Day. You said thus By organizing such events, their understanding of a particular subject increases and they also benefit from the practical aspect of the knowledge gained from it in their daily life. While appreciating such activities, you called for organizing such programs in the future also. Statistics show that Due to continuous wandering in the virtual world, people are gradually losing their connection with the real world, due to which mental health problems are increasing.

Organizing Secretary Dr. Gayatri Tiwari, Co-Dean Student Welfare Professor and Senior Scientist, Human Development and Family Relations Department, on the theme Jaisa Man: Waisa Tan, while explaining the relevance of the title of the session, said that earlier it was believed that Jaisa Man: Waisa Mind. This is the reality. But in the changing scenario, people’s inclination towards physical health has increased relatively, but the irony is that no one seems to be thinking about the mind. The result of which sometimes forces one to commit a heinous crime like suicide. This is the right time to ensure mental health of all so that a happy society can be created. There was active participation of the participants on this occasion. It was concluded with a vote of thanks from Club Advisor Dr. Sumitra Meena, Assistant Professor, Department of Food Science and Nutrition.
