Palampur 6 March.  Dr.D. K.Vatsa ,Vice Chancellor has emphasized the importance of enhancing the skills of professionals. He was addressing participants and scientists during the concluding ceremony of three days training on “Small Animal Abdominal Sonography and Echocardiography” at Dr G.C.Negi College of Veterinary and Animal Science, here today. He appreciated the Department of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology for organizing such trainings on regular intervals.

The Vice Chancellor awarded nine  participants from Delhi and other states. Prof. SP Tyagi, organizing chairman and  Head of the department, said that  training focused on improving the clinical diagnostic skills of the delegates by giving them hands-on exposure to ultrasonography examination techniques. Every participant was given ample opportunity to practice the techniques on clinical patients under the supervision of experts.  Prof.Adarsh Kumar Course Director, Dr Rohit Kumar, Organizing Secretary, Drs Amit Kumar, Deepti Bodh and Deepti Sharma, Co-Organizing secretaries also expressed their views. The delegates thanked the University for providing quality  training to them.
