Groundnut/soy based products are loaded with various other essential goodness that makes it critically important for individuals on diets, people who have to enhance their overall health, as well as vegetarians and vegans around the world. In the health conscious world non dairy foods are becoming popular and ICAR-CIPHET is committed and working consistently to meet the food needs of the nation by developing and promoting health food products. Keeping in view the potential of groundnut/soy products ICAR-CIPHET has developed technology for groundnut flavored beverage, curd and paneer. Ms. Jainie Sethia from M/s Bikaji Food International Ltd. Malad and Mr. Varun Singhwani from Kanpur approached ICAR-CIPHET Ludhiana for taking technology license. Dr. D.N. Yadav, Pr. Scientist & Inventor of this technology imparted hands on training to entrepreneurs during 27-28 April 2023. Dr. Renu Balakrishnan I/c ITMU coordinated this training and Dr. Nachiket Kotwaliwale Director, CIPHET Ludhiana awarded certificate of licensing and agreement to the entrepreneurs on successful completion of training.
