Awareness programme on soil health management and its conservation was jointly organized by Agricultural Research Station and DAATTC, Tornala duly involving farmers, RAWEP students of College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar on 21-04-2023. Dr. S. Sridevi, Principal Scientist and Head, ARS, Tornala has briefed the importance of soil health and conservation and also emphasized on importance of soil test based application of fertilizers and its role in preventing soil degradation and decreasing cost of cultivation. Sri J. Vijay, Coordinator DAATTC method demonstrated collection and preparation of soil sample for analysis and benefits of green manure crops. Dr. Ch. Srilatha, AD representative, CA, Rajendranagar, Dr. Ch. Pallavi, Scientist (TOT), Dr. N. Sainath, Scientist (SSAC), Dr. D. Swetha, Scientist (Agronomy), Smt. A. Saritha, Scientist (Pl. Breeding) have attended the programme along with 37 RAWEP students of College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar along with 37 progressive farmers from different villages of Tornala, Bussapur, Ibrahimpur, Ramancha, Chittapur, Chinnakodur, Raghavapur.
