Agricultural Research Station, Karimnagar organized meeting on 20.11.2023 Good agriculture practices for Rabi maize production and distribution of inputs to the farmers of Ramadugu, Saidapur, Jammikunta , Odela mandal of Karimnagar District, Raikal mandal of Jagtial district. Dr.D.Sravani, Scientist (Plant Breeding) welcomed the dignitaries on the Dias. The Principal Scientist (Agro.) and Head Dr. G. Manjulatha, ARS, Karimnagar addressed the gathering and briefed the research, teaching and extension mandate of PJTSAU and research station activities carried out at Agricultural Research Station and hybrids released from the research station and also about vegetable intercropping in maize. Later, in the technical session, Dr.A.Vijay Bhaskar, Senior Scientist (Plant Pathology), explained about Integrated Disease management in maize and other ID crops.
Dr.P.Madhukar Rao, Scientist (Agro.) explained about the Rabi maize management practices, and Dr. D. Sravani, Scientist (Plant Breeding)) explained about characters of maize hybrids released from PJTSAU. Dr.K.Madan Mohan Reddy, Scientist (TOT) explained about PJTSAU you-tube subscription . Dr.M. Rajendra Prasad, Scientist (Plant Pathology), explained about integrated maize management in maize and other ID crops. Inputs Karimnagar makka-1 and Carrot seed distributed to beneficiaries.
