Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem has organized Kisan Mela and Live telecast of Hon’ble PM speech at KVK, Kothagudem office on 27.07.2023 on the occasion of release of 14th instalment of PM KISAN funds from Sikar, Rajasthan. Dr. R. Vishwatej, SMS (Extension) has hosted the inaugural session, welcomed the guests and explained about the successful implementation of welfare schemes of Government of India like PM -KISAN, ONDC for 1600+ FPO etc. Dr. R. Srinivas Rao, SMS (Crop Production) has explained about in the pre-kharif crops activities to be taken for good crop yields and explained about advantages of Neem Coated Urea, Urea Gold (Sulphur Coated). Dr. V. Lakshmi Narayanamma (Programme Coordinator) has explained about all the extension activities and services provided at the KVK for benefit of the farmers. Mr. B. Shiva, SMS (Horticulture), and has explained about achievements of KVK for year 2022-2023. Later, all the participants have viewed the Live telecast of Hon’ble PM speech from Sikar, Rajasthan After that all the scientists has conducted a Farmer -Scientist Interaction with the progressive farmers and clarified their doubts regarding crops during Kharif season. Dr. R. Vishwatej, SMS (Extension) has proposed a formal vote of thanks for KVK scientists and staff, Farmers and farm women and Media personnel for making the event a grand success. A total of 62 farmers were participated and made the event successful.
