Mr. B. L. G. Swamy, Deputy Conservator of Forest, Bengaluru (Urban) and Mr. A. D. Prakash, Assistant Conservator of Forest Bengaluru (Urban) and Mr Nagendra Babu had the honor of visiting our esteemed organization. The warm welcome extended to them by Dr. S. N. Sushil, Director, ICAR-NBAIR set the tone for a fruitful discussion on potential collaborations between both the organization.

During their visit, the Deputy Conservator of Forest, Mr. B. L. G. Swamy, and Assistant Conservator of Forest, Mr. A. D. Prakash, had the opportunity to explore the fascinating National Insect Museum. Dr. Ankita Gupta, an expert in the field, provided them with a detailed tour of the museum, shedding light on its significance and potential for collaboration in terms of training and research.

The discussions held during this visit were instrumental in laying the foundation for future cooperation between our organization and the Forest Department, with a particular focus on agricultural insect resources. This collaboration holds the promise of mutually beneficial endeavors that can contribute significantly to the fields of forestry and agriculture. We express our gratitude to Mr. B. L. G.
