NOTIFICATION
The Department of Agricultural Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture, Assam Agriculture University, Jorhat in association with Directorate of Extension Education, AAU, Jorhat is organizing one month long training on “Operation, Repair and Maintenance of Agricultural Machinery” during 01.08.2023 to 30.08.2023. The training is funded by the Department of Agriculture, Government of Assam. The training expenditure, boarding and lodging of the participants will be borne by the Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat. However, No travel expenses will be paid for attending the training. Minimum educational qualification for participating in the training is HSLC pass or equivalent. Since the training will be mostly hands-on and participants will have to operate both heavy and light agricultural machinery , it is desirable that the participants are physically fit for the training.
Interested farmers may apply for the training in plain paper mentioning his name, address, phone number and educational qualifications and send the application to e-mail –aaufarmmachinerytraining@gmail.com. The last date for receiving the application is 20.07.2023. From the applicants only 25 candidates will be selected to undergo the training.
