Shri B Suresh Babu, General Manager, Department of Data Management, Analytics and Business Intelligence (DDMAABI), NABARD, Head Office, Mumbai visited ICAR-CRIDA on 16th March 2023. Dr Vinod Kumar Singh, Director ICAR-CRIDA welcomed Shri Ramesh Babu. Shri Suresh Babuduring the interaction with the senior officials of ICAR-CRIDA briefed the objectives of his visit and made a power point presentation on initiatives made by NABARD for data management. Shri Ramesh Babu during his presentation informed that NABARD is making an effort to pool the relevant data from public sector institutes and other organisations for a) developing a policy for NABARD and GoI, b) developing a product and c) technology transfer, and asked our institute collaboration. He also stressed that appropriate credit and acknowledgement will be given to the institutes contributing the data. Dr V K Singh, Director ICAR-CRIDA while thanking Shri Ramesh Babu for visiting ICAR-CRIDA appreciated the concept of data management initiated by NABARD and assured all the assistance and cooperation.
