Under the aegis of Punjab Agricultural University and ICAR -ATARI, Zone 1, Ludhiana, the PAU- Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Sangrur organised a two-day short duration training course on ‘Resin Art Technique.’ The training course was organized under the able guidance of Dr Mandeep Singh, Associate Director (Training), KVK, Sangrur in which around 25 rural women and men participated.

Dr Mandeep Singh emphasized that art forms such as resin art offer more than just a source of income; they also serve as powerful tools for self-expression and empowerment. Alongside this, he shared the details of various other training programmes and activities being conducted at Krishi Vigyan Kendra for the welfare of rural women and men.

Dr Vitasta Dhawan, Assistant Professor (Home Science) and Coordinator of the training programme, deliberated on some common techniques in resin art including pouring, layering, embedding objects and manipulating the resin’s surface. She also highlighted essential safety precautions that should be taken while working with resin.
