The College of Horticulture and Forestry, PAU, unveiled its latest initiative, the Knowledge Hub, in a ceremonious inauguration attended by faculty members and undergraduate students from the Agriculture and Horticulture disciplines. Led by Dr MIS Gill, Dean of the College, the event witnessed the presence of faculty heads, Dr HS Rattanpal, Dr Tarsem Singh Dhillon, Dr GPS Dhillon, and Dr Parminder Singh.

Dr MIS Gill emphasized the Hub’s significance in fostering holistic student growth, stating, “The Knowledge Hub symbolizes our commitment to creating an environment for comprehensive learning and development. It offers a space for students to explore, engage, and expand their knowledge beyond traditional learning environments.” The inauguration, he stressed, marks the formal introduction of this space, welcoming students to fuel their curiosity and ambitions.

This dynamic Knowledge Hub has an extensive collection of magazines, periodicals, newspapers, and reference materials, providing a conducive environment for study and collaborative learning. It will remain open from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Faculty members Dr NK Arora, Dr Hira Singh, Dr Anirudh Thakur, Dr R K Dubey, Dr Simrat Singh, Dr Sandeep Singh, and Dr Gagandeep Kaur from the constituent departments of the College were also present at the occasion.
