Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal conducted Awareness Programme on “Natural Farming” under Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas at TSP adopted village (Eshwaragudem, Kothaguda Mandal) on 24-11-2023. Dr. E. Rambabu, SMS (Horticulture) explained about tribal freedom fighters, government schemes for the development of tribal people. During this event he explained about importance of Natural Farming which helps in improvement of soil health, human health and balanced ecosystem. He emphasized on cultivation of green manure crops before Paddy, Chili; application of FYM, Vermi compost, Neem cake, Groundnut cake to enrich soil health instead of using complex fertilizers; usage of biopesticides and biofungicides to avoid indiscriminate use of pesticides. A total of 46 farmers participated.
