Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal organized training programme on “Operation and Maintenance of Drip Irrigation System” at Rythu Vedika, Ammapalem of Dornakal Mandal on 06-10-2023. Dr. E. Rambabu, SMS (Horticulture) explained about Operation, Maintenance of main lines, sub main lines, lateral pipes of Drip Irrigation System. He also answered the queries raised by the farmers on current pest and diseases of Chilli crop in the present situation. Later, conducted field visit to Chilli crop with mulching and drip irrigation where Sri M. Ashok, District Coordinator, Kumar Drip Irrigation, Mahabubabad acted as resource person and practically showed maintenance of head control unit, pressure gauge, procedure for acid treatments, etc to the farmers. In this programme Smt V. Anitha Sri, Horticulture Officer, Dornakal; Sri Y. Karna, AEO, Dornakal cluster; Sri K. Avinash, AEO, Chilukodu cluster; Sri O. Charan Teja, Vennaram cluster, Sri G. Sandeep, Field Assistant, TSOILFED and 36 no. of farmers participated.
