AnAgri-drone was installed and operated at ICAR-Research Complex for Eastern Region, Patna experimental farm on 11th May, 2023.The drone was checked for any malfunctioning while flying. The spraying system was also tested for any leakage after filing water in tank. The spraying nozzle was working fine during operation. The nozzle covered a width of 3.8 meter during spraying. The detailed specification of Agri-drone is given in table.
During testing of Agri-drone, Dr. Anup Das (Director), Dr. Prem K. Sundaram (Senior Scientist), Dr. PawanJeet (Scientist), Dr. BikashSarkar (Pr. Scientist), Dr. Rakesh Kumar (Senior Scientist), Mr. Santosh Kumar (Engineer, IOTECHWORLD) and other staffs of ICAR-RCER, Patna were present.
