ICAR-Central Institute of Research on Cotton Technology, Mumbai organized a three-day training programme on ‘Electrospinning for Nanofiber Production’ during Dec 18-20, 2023. This self-financed training programme was attended by nine participants comprising faculties, research scholars and Scientists from various academic and ICAR institutions. In addition to Maharashtra, trainees from Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Punjab attended this programme. The training course covered the basics and advances in Electrospinning technology, and their applications in cotton textiles, agriculture and technical textiles.

Dr. Sujata Saxena, Director In-charge, presided over the valedictory function welcomed the gathering, and interacted with the trainees for their comments and feedback and other collaboration possibilities. Dr. GTV Prabu, Scientist and Training Coordinator briefed the training programme and encouraged the participants for future collaboration. This was followed by certificate distribution to all the participants.
