ICAR – Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering and Technology, Ludhiana and Laxmi Jan Kalyan Sewa Sansthan, Uttar Pradesh entered into an agreement to collaborate in the area of skill development training on post-harvest processing and value addition for youth/farmer/women and establishment of Agro-Processing Centre’s at Uttat Pradesh. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Dr. Nachiket Kotwaliwale, Director, ICAR – CIPHET, Ludhiana and Dr. Neelam Tyagi, Secretary, Laxmi Jan Kalyan Sewa Sansthan in a ceremony held on May 23, 2023 at ICAR-CIPHET Ludhiana. It was felt that the agreement will pave ways for opportunities in agro processing and value addition for youth/farmer/women leading to income and employment generation. The program was facilitated by Dr. Renu Balakrishnan I/c ITMU. On this occasion Dr. Sandeep Mann, I/c PME, Dr. Armaan U. Muzaddadi, I/c Head ToT, Dr. Sandeep Dawange, Scientist ToT Division and Er. Alka Sharma, RA was also present.
