The ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute (ATARI) has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tara Blooms Private Limited, Coimbatore (NamFarmers.com) on 12th January 2023. Dr Rajbir Singh, Director has signed MoU on behalf of ICAR-ATARI, Ludhiana and Mr Asif Riaz, General Manager from Tara Blooms Private Limited, Coimbatore. Nam Farmer is a Tara Blooms Private Limited initiative. The NamFarmers.com is a unique platform which will enable KVKs under Zone-I to build its own agricultural community network and also attract all agri stakeholders to join the network. ATARI, Ludhiana can publish/post and do webinars/ broadcasts using this platform for quick and easy connection with stakeholders. This platform will provide the following services. Group page for communication both internal and external, institute officials will become as admin and shall manage it as per need. Group and subgroups formation within the KVK for internal and external communication for various crops, practices and activities. Special services to KVKs FPOs, SHGs and other extension agencies.  Market place to farmers/ producers, exporters and buyers. This MoU has been signed for five years and its term and conditions will be revised after five years and shall be extended based on mutual consent and agreement.
