The 1 Pb R&V SQN NCC organizes an all-girls cadet rally to mark World Blood Donation day to aware the general public about the benefits of blood donation. The candidates started the march from the NCC unit in Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana. They went around the campus and then approached the Rishi Nagar area where the cadets interacted with the general public in that area and made them aware that one should go for blood donation as it can help in saving someone’s life. Their misconceptions about the blood donation were attended by the cadets and the associate NCC officers of the NCC unit. People were very happy to know that they can donate blood after every 3-4 months and it will not impact their health. They were made aware that if they participate in this noble cause it will help in saving the life of a needy person.

The staff of the NCC unit also accompanied the cadets in the rally. Capt. Dr. Nitin Dev Singh and Lt. Dr. PP Dubey motivated the cadets that they should also participate in blood donation camps and donate blood. Dr. Inderjeet Singh, Vice Chancellor appreciated the students and admired the efforts they are doing to educate the general public about various noble issues by taking out such rallies for the welfare of the general public.
