ABOUT US:

ICAR-Central Avian Research Institute (CARI) was established in 1979 at Izatnagar, Bareilly (UP) under the aegis of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) to provide all-round support to the growth of Poultry sector. Since its inception, this institute has been playing an important role by providing need based R & D support for diversified poultry production, processing and marketing, apart from Postgraduate education, training and technology transfer activities for augmenting productivity, production and profitability of the Indian poultry sector. The Institute has developed 55 technologies, attained 7 patents, registered 6 designs, one semen diluent and 4 trademarks.

ABOUT THE KARYASHALASCHEME:
KARYASHALA is an effort by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Government of India via Accelerate Vigyan to improve research productivity of promising PG and Ph.D. students from universities and colleges through high-end workshops on specific themes.
This program aims to provide opportunities to acquire specialized research skills.

WHAT TO BE EXPECTED FROM TRAINING:

  • Exposure to advanced instrumentation and research techniques.
  • Cultivating confidence in research scholars in handling advanced instrumentation.
  • Hands on sessions and exposure visits to poultry farms.

  • Last date of application submission 10.06.2023
  • Acceptance for training 17.06.2023
  • Intimation to selected participants 15.06.2023
