  1. The weather forecast received from IMD indicates that in the coming week maximum temperature is expected to range from 29.6 to 37.7°C and minimum temperature from 14.0 to 23.5°C at most of the locations in north India. The maximum relative humidity is expected to range from 48-11% and minimum relative humidity from 28-6%. In accordance to the data received from IMD farmers are advised to wait for proper maturity (12-14% grain moisture).
  2. Farmers are also advised to ensure that proper drying of harvested crop is done to avoid further incidence of pest in the storage.
  3. In the coming week the farmers are advised not to irrigate the fields however, in certain areas (late sown) there may be a requirement of light irrigation in the late sown crop.
