The Bureau of Indian Standards organized a 3 days re-certification audit at the institute for the license given under ISO 9001:2015 during 19-21 June 2023. During the audit opening meeting, Dr. S K Shukla, Director briefed about important new initiatives taken by the institute for the implementation and maintenance of the ISO 9001 standard. Mr. R.K. Bajaj, the auditor from BIS conducted the recertification audit in the field of Top management & MR, PME, QEID, MPD, CBPD,TTD Administration, Security and housekeeping, and Engineering Section. On 21st June 2023, an audit closing meeting was conducted. The auditor has recommended that the institute has implemented the ISO 9001:2015 standard satisfactorily and recommended the renewal of the license for the further period of three years. Dr A S M Raja, Principal Scientist & Management Representative (MR) and Dr. A. Arputharaj, Senior scientist & Deputy MR coordinated the recertification audit.
