Dr. Scientific Advisory Committee meeting on 22.01.2024 at Krishi Science Center of Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana, Ferozepur. It was held under the chairmanship of GPS Sodhi, Additional Director, Extension Education, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. In this meeting Dr. Kuldeep Singh Director Regional Research Center Faridkot and Dr. RK Singh Professor Krishi Science Center Faridkot attended as special guest. Apart from these, Dr. Gurpreet Singh Makkar Farm Advisory Service Center Ferozepur, Dr. Jangir Singh Chief Agricultural Officer Ferozepur and Deputy Directors of various departments related to agriculture, officers, progressive farmers and farmer wives shared their views with scientists. On this occasion, Dr. Munish Kumar Assistant Professor (Animal Husbandry) welcomed the guests at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Ferozepur and introduced farmers to wheat-paddy cultivation as well as ancillary activities such as beekeeping, mushroom production, goat rearing, pig rearing, Motivated to adopt the business of chicken rearing, Gandoa fertilizer preparation etc. and shared information about the work done for the next year. Dr. Kuldeep Singh, Director, Regional Research Center, Faridkot, recommended the facilities and recommendations provided by the University of Ferozepur District. He emphasized on reaching all the villages and asked the concerned departments to give maximum support to Krishi Vigyan Kendra. On this occasion, Ms. Geeta Mehta LDM, Ms. Savita Singh from NABARD, Mr. Mohit Arora DEO Secondary Dr. Simranjit Singh from Horticulture Department, Dr. Gurwinder Singh from Animal Husbandry Department, Jasdeep Kumari from Soil and Water Conservation Department Ferozepur.
