Public Interest Disclosure & Protection of Informer (PIDPI) Resolution (16th August 2023 to 15th Nov. 2023) as a precursor of Vigilance Awareness Week 2023 (30th October 2023 -5 th Nov. 2023) was organised at Gram Sabha of Gumthi village, Kamptee Taluka, Nagpur on 26th September 2023. Programme was started with welcome address by the local organizer Smt. Shital Band, Social worker, Sawarmendha village. Shri HL Kharbikar, Scientist has briefed the PIDPI Resolution programme of CVC on corruption free India. Programme was started with Dr. M. S. Raghuvanshi, Pr. Scientist who has given the details of vigilance awareness and government schemes for the benefits of farmers and briefed about practices for their transfer to the grass root level for enhancing their livelihood. Imperative talks were delivered by Smt. Simatai More, Sarpanch, Gram Panchayat, Gumthi and raised multiple problems faced by the formers. Smt. Ranjana Manwatkar, Deputy Sarpanch, Smt. Kavitatai Bhoyar, Gram Panchayat Member, Gumthi, also spoken on this occasion. Mr. Prakash Ambekar, Chief Tech. Officer, Mr V. T. Sahu, Tech. Officer from the institute and progressive farmers and farm women Smt. Shilatai Sheware and Shri. Banduji More also shared their experiences among farmers about their agricultural activities. Dr. U.K. Maurya, Pr. Scientist, had spoken the details about PIDPI Resolution of CVC and the procedures of submitting application to CVC against any corrupt person either in Govt. service or a public servant. He also spokes about the details of government machinery, schemes and mechanism to implement the programme. About 60 farmers with majority of farm women from Gumthi, Sawarmendha and surrounding villages participated in the interaction and group discussion programme. Programme was ended with vote of thanks by Smt. Shital Band, Social worker from Sawarmendha village.
