Dr. Avijit Haldar, Principal Scientist and Nodal Scientist of the Natural Farming project at ICAR-ATARI, Kolkata, visited KVK scientists in Cooch Behar and Uttar Dinajpur, and interacted with farmers in Kumargang Block of Alipurduar District and Chopra Block of Uttar Dinajpur District of North Bengal.

Farmers are increasingly interested in natural farming practices due to their lower cultivation costs, reduced pest and disease infestation risks, and the production of organic, tasty, and quality vegetables.
