Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal distributed Black gram seed (MBG-1070) to farmers on 08-01-24 under NFSM- Cluster Front Line Demonstration (Pulses) programme at KVK, Malyal. In this programme, Sri B. Kranthi Kumar, SMS (Crop Production) explained Black gram production technology and characters of MBG-1070 Black gram variety and he also explained that this variety is suitable for both the seasons. Dr. S. Malathi, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Malyal explained about the importance of seed treatment in cultivation of Black gram. She also suggested to the farmers make it a habit to cultivate pulse crops after Vanakalam to increase the fertility of soil as well as increase the beneficial organisms in the soil. In this programme, Smt .Pujitha, AEO Malyal, Mahabubabad Mandal, total 50 farmers participated in the programme.
