ICAR- Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering & Technology, Ludhiana developed a visible light-based insect trap that utilizes visible light to attract and trap harmful insects, offering a non-toxic and environmentally friendly solution for pest management in agriculture.

Dr. Nachiket Kotwaliwale, Director, ICAR-CIPHET awarded the agreement and assured him that all possible help would be extended for the establishment of this venture.

Dr. Guru P.N., Dr. D. Saha & Er. Yogesh Kalnar. Varanasi-based enterprise M/s Parashar Agrotech Bio Pvt Ltd approached the ICAR-CIPHET for licensing of technology as mentioned earlier. Dr. Renu Balakrishnan I/c ITMU facilitated this licensing.
