ICAR-Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute, Goa, and ICAR- KVK, North Goa, organized a programme on awareness and demonstration of drone application in agriculture to the progressive farmers from Sonaal Village, North Goa on 23 May, 2023 under Mission Lifestyle for Environment. During this programme Shri Rahul Kulkarni, ACTO briefed the farmers about the utility, importance and future of drone in agriculture. Shri Vishwajeet Prajapati, Technical Officer explained the farmers about how drone usage can reduce the usage of chemicals and fertilizers in agriculture. Around 20 farmers attend this programme. The programme was overall coordinated by Dr. Uthappa, A. R, Shri Vinod Ubarhande, Shri Rahul Kulkarni, Shri Vishwajeet Prajapati and Kushmala I.C.
