ALIGARH June 19: The final year BDS students at Dr Ziauddin Ahmad Dental College, Aligarh Muslim University held a hand hygiene demonstration programme under the Jan Bhagidari programme to mark India’s G20 Presidency.

The BDS students – Zaid, Areeba, Shivani and Nadeem led the demonstration, highlighting key hand hygiene practices such as hand washing with soap, sanitizing and maintaining proper hand care.

The demonstration aimed at raising awareness about the importance of hand hygiene in preventing the spread of diseases and maintaining overall well-being.

Professor N. D. Gupta, who supervised the event and provided valuable insights into the significance of hand hygiene in maintaining a healthy population, said that with the ongoing global health crisis, this initiative aligned perfectly with India’s G20 Presidency agenda, focusing on health, wellness, and sustainable development.
