A Field Day on popularization of Groundnut varieties K 1812 & DH 256 along with application of Lime and Boron application@ 500kg/ha and @1kg/ha respectively was organized by KVK North Tripura, Panisagar in Brajendranagar, Kadamtala Block in North Tripura district, on 25th March 2023 with 30 number of farmers to highlight the nutrient management practices on performance on groundnut under Cluster Front Line Demonstration (CFLD) of Oilseed in National Food Security Mission (NFSM 2022-23)”. The objective of the field day was to enhance the awareness among the farmers about the cultivation of oilseed crop in the paddy fallow areas. The farmers were less aware about the role of secondary and micronutrients in oilseed crops, however groundnut cultivation was not much familiar in those areas. The importance of the oilseed crop in a cropping system was briefly elaborated by SMS (Agronomy). He also explained the benefits of liming and micronutrient application in groundnut and also explained the role of nodule crops in cropping system.
