ICAR- Central Institute of Fisheries technology Kochi has bagged three prestigious awards in the 27th Indian Convention of Food scientists and Technologists (ICFoST) held at Tezpur University, Assam. The national convention was organised by the Association of Food Scientists and Technologies (India) (AFSTI). Dr. C.N. Ravishankar, Director, CIFT has been conferred as the Fellow of AFSTI in the Convention. Dr. Manoj P. Samuel and team consist of Dr. S. Murali and Dr Aniesrani Delfiya received ‘Low Cost Technology Award’. This award recognizes their contribution towards development of best low cost technology in the field of Food science and Technology or allied areas. A team consists of Smt. Razia Mohammed, Dr. George Ninan, Dr. Manoj P.Samuel, Shri. Ligin Nambiar , Shri. Ajeesh Kumar and Dr. Ravishankar C.N have received the best poster award in the Convention. Apart from these, Smt. Razia Mohammed has emerged the winner in designing logo for the convention.
