The Central Horticultural Experiment Station (CHES), ICAR-IIHR Bhubaneswar, added a touch of freshness and vitality to the celebration of World Kitchen Day as it showcased its horticultural technologies through exhibition stall on 27th August 2023 at Saheed Nagar, Khurda. The program was led by Dr. Satyapriya Singh, Scientist, Entomology, with other officials, including Mr. Purnachandra Majhi (TA), Mr. Gobinda Chandra Ranasingh (SSS) under the guidance of Dr. G.C. Acharya, Head, CHES, Bhubaneswar. Through the stalls, CHES emphasized the importance of sustainable farming practices and the vital role of locally sourced produce in promoting health and well-being. This exhibition provided insights into organic farming techniques, the benefits of diverse crops, and the pivotal role horticulture plays in shaping culinary cultures.

The exhibition stall which showcased array of horticultural saplings including seed distribution, biofertilizers, decomposers, AMC, and growth promoters, Arka Vertical Garden and became an extensive and interactive experience for attendees of all ages.
