Connectivity and Accommodation
Andaman and Nicobar Islands being a popular tourist destination, Port Blair is connected to prime cities in mainland India by air and sea ways. The islands being an Union Territory of India, no Visa/ Passport is required. ICAR-CIARI is located about 6 km from Veer Savarkar International Airport, Port Blair and about 12 km from Haddo Jetty. Regular daytime flights are available for Port Blair from Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Vizag, Further, Port Blair is connected to Chennai, Kolkata and Vizag through sea route. There are several hotels and home stays of different budget categories available near the conference venue. Delegates are requested to
book their own accommodation through various booking portals and organizers may be contacted for any guidance. Transportation from
the hotels to the venue will be arranged by the organizers during the event dates.
