About 13th IFAF

Indian Fisheries and Aquaculture Forum is an illustrious event in the Indian fisheries sector to realize and relook into recent developments and redefine the goals that would pave the way for realistic achievements in the country. ICAR-Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute, Barrackpore, the Inland Fisheries Society of India and the Asian Fisheries Society Indian Branch are jointly hosting the 13th Indian Fisheries and Aquaculture Forum (IFAF) during February 23-25, 2024, in Kolkata with a theme “Fostering Indian Fisheries and Aquaculture for attaining Sustainable Development Goals.

Exhibition

Premier Research Institutions, NGOs, State Government Departments/Organizations and Entrepreneurs will take part in the exhibition that will be arranged at the venue of the forum.

AFSIB General Body & Elections

The general body meeting and election of AFSIB office-bearers will be held during the forum to elect the new Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and Executive Members. The necessary notice in this regard will be circulated by the Secretary, AFSIB.

Venue

Biswa Bangla Convention Centre (BBCC), New Town, Kolkata. BBCC is located on Biswa Bangla Sarani, Action Area I of New Town, Kolkata; near the Kolkata Gate and is approximately 10 km west of Kolkata Airport, 17 km from Howrah Railway Station, 13 km each from Sealdah and Kolkata Railway Station.
