Use of digital gadgets in Agriculture which started off as limited small scale pilots a couple of decades ago, is currently gaining momentum. Emerging technologies like Geo-spatial, Internet of Things (IOT), Robotics etc. offer smart and innovative utilities that can constructively disrupt agricultural value chains. Several stakeholders including government, civil society, private etc. have resulted in maximizing timely and personalized information access, enhanced productivity, transparency, and efficiency in food systems.
