The students of the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) enthusiastically attended the launch of “Viksit Bharat@2047: Voice of Youth” consultation programme, in which Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi called upon the youths to contribute to building of a developed India. Urging the youth to become disciplined and law-abiding citizens, the PM stated, “Our whole nation has to transform into a disciplined family and create an atmosphere of discipline.” He underscored the need to create a youth army to look after the nation’s interest, and impressed upon the youths to think out of box, be punctual and follow traffic rules. Comparing Amrit Kaal to the examination time, he advised all the institutions and the students to invest their time and energy in building a “Developed India- Viksit Bharat.”
Dr Satbir Singh Gosal, Vice-Chancellor, PAU, hailed PM’s initiative of addressing the youths who are nation-builders and future of the country.
The students lauded the PM’s stimulating speech and opined that his words would act as morale booster, check the youths from going off the track, and inspire everyone to become responsible citizens.
