The logo of College of Horticulture and Forestry, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), has been developed and designed by alumna Ishwinder Kaur, who passed out Bachelor’s in Agricultural Engineering, and Masters in Processing and Food Engineering from College of Agricultural Engineering, PAU. The newly designed logo has been approved by the competent authority and was selected out of 57 total entries. The students from all the five constituent colleges of PAU participated in the online and offline logo competitions. Further, experts including students and teachers of PAU were also involved for their inputs. After exhaustive input, the logo of College of Horticulture and Forestry was thoroughly screened in the Board of Studies meeting at the college level; Resident Instruction Committee meeting at the Dean, Post Graduate Studies level; and Academic Council at the University level. Finally, the logo was approved in the Board of Management (BOM) meeting held on August 31 and the confirmation of the proceedings was done in the 313th BOM meeting held on November 6.

The PAU Vice-Chancellor Dr Satbir Singh Gosal; Dean of Post Graduate Studies Dr Pardeep Chunneja; and Dean of College of Horticulture and Forestry Dr Manav Indra Singh Gill appreciated the artwork of Ishwinder Kaur in designing the logo of the newly established college of PAU.
