An orientation programme was organised by the Home Science Association of the College of Community Science for the newly admitted students of B.Sc (Hons.) Community Science and B.Sc (Hons.) Nutrition and Dietetics.
Dr Kiranjot Sidhu, Dean, College of Community Science, apprised the students of various opportunities in the College and the University to outshine both personally and professionally.
Dr Jaswinder Kaur Brar, Professor, Department of Food and Nutrition, gave a presentation on semester rules. She also highlighted the facilities that the College and University offered in sports and co-curricular activities. The advisors and the class incharge of the newly admitted students also attended the programme. The students sought solutions to their queries and found the program very informative.
