The high level Five Year Review Team (QRT) meeting was held at ICAR-Directorate of Weed Research, Jabalpur on January 03-04, 2024. The chairman and members of the high level committee QRT reviewed the research programs going on in the directorate and visited the field. During this, Chairman of the Committee, Dr. R.K. Malik, Consultant, International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (SIMIT), India and member Dr. S.K. Jalali, Dr. S.D. Gorantiwar, Dr. P.G. Shah, Dr. Simranjit Kaur and Dr. R.P. Dubey, Member Secretary, through the Director of the Directorate, Dr. J.S. Mishra, various ongoing research programs were discussed in detail during the field visit in the presence of scientists and officials.
Director of the Directorate, Dr. J.S. Mishra informed the team in detail about the activities of the Directorate and also presented various research works done by the scientists in detail. The High Level Five Year Review Team (FFTJ) appreciated the ongoing research programs in the Directorate and recommended running more collaborative programs with other institutions. In the end, a vote of thanks was presented by Dr. R.P.Dubey, Member Secretary.
