Village Anuppur of Maitha Block, Kanpur Dehat is the “First Bio-fortified village of India” adopted by C.S. Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur on October 12, 2020. Our hon’ble Chancellor/ Governor is desired to develop Anuppur as an ideal village in India. Hon’ble Governor of Uttar Pradesh/ Chancellor has also shown her interest to develop Anuppur in a scientific manner in her presidential address during a Webinar conducted on December 23, 2020. She wished to make all-around development of Anuppur and establish it as an Ideal Village in India.
We distributed biofortified sampling of fruit crops, Nutri-kitchen garden seed kits & biofortified wheat for seed production.
