Tree plantation done at Rudraksh Bhawan of the University Pantnagar. 13 August 2024 | In view of environmental protection, a tree plantation program was organized in the campus of Rudraksh Bhawan of the University under the campaign ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ of the Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Dr. Manmohan Singh Chauhan. The program was started by the Vice Chancellor by planting a sapling of Ashoka Pendula. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Dr. Chauhan inspired everyone to plant a tree in the name of mother. On this occasion, in the presence of the Vice Chancellor, Registrar Dr. Deepa Vinay Controller Mrs. Abha Garkhal Dean Community Science College Dr. Alka Goyal; Dean Postgraduate Dr. K.P. Raverkar, Dean Veterinary and Animal Science College Dr. A.H. Ahmed; Dean Science and Humanities College Dr. Sandeep Arora; Dean Agri Business Management College Dr. R.S. Jadoun Dean Student Welfare Dr. Brijesh Singh Director Extension Education Dr. Jitendra Kwatra; Director Research Dr. A. S. Nain and other officers and employees also planted trees. After the tree plantation program, the Vice Chancellor inspected Rudraksh Bhawan and gave instructions to the officers. He gave best wishes and congratulated everyone on the university getting 8th rank in NIRF ranking.
