ICAR-CCRI, Amravati Road, Nagpur will be making available a limited number of disease free planting material of citrus i.e. budded plants of Nagpur mandarin (Santra) and sweet orange (Mosambi) on standard rootstock from July-2023 and Acid lime seedlings will be available from 15th June, 2023.
The interested Nursery owners, citrus growers and other stake-holders are requested to send application through registered post/speed post only. Applications sent by the private courier, electronic means etc. will not be accepted. Every application should be accompanied with the 7/12 land record. Application will be accepted from April 21st to 28 th April, 2023 only. No application in person will be accepted. The application should include the Name, Postal address, Mobile Number, e-mail (if applicable), Name and quantity of planting material etc. The application may be addressed to The Director, ICAR-Central Citrus Research Institute, Amravati road, Nagpur440033.Receipt of application to the institute before the last date does not guarantee you of confirmation of allotment.
The quantity of planting material will be allotted on first come first serve basis as per the date of receipt of applications. Also, research requirements will be given priority and the regional balance will be maintained in the allotment. Since CCRI is a national institute, a country-wide allotment of available planting material is to be ensured. Therefore, allotment decision of the institute will be final and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained. Application against this advertisement means that you are giving consent to abide to the institute’s rules and regulation for getting citrus plating material.
The Institute will also fix the date and time of sale and will be informed to the applicants through registered/speed post/e-mail. Applicant should bring the allotment letter of the institute while collecting the planting material. The person will have to collect the material by depositing the amount as per the prescribed rate with the cashier at ICAR-CCRI, Nagpur on the date and time intimated. The payment, more than Rs. 5000/- will be accepted only through debit card or demand draft in favor of ICAR Unit, CCRI, Nagpur. Those who do not collect the planting material in given date, their claim will not be entertained further. Planting material will be given only if available. Amount of money need to be deposited before 1.00 pm on the date informed and once the payment is made, the deposited amount will not be refunded.
The selling price of Nagpur mandarin budling is Rs.110/- per plant and Sweet orange budling is Rs.110/- per plant; Acid lime seedling is Rs.60/- per plant; Rangpur lime, Rough lemon, Alemow root stock seedling from secondary nursery is Rs.60/- per plant; Rangpur lime, Rough lemon, Alemow root stock seedlings and Acid lime seedlings from primary nursery is Rs. 40/- per plant; Other Citrus varieties is Rs. 210/- per plant; Seed of Rough lemon, Rangpur lime and Acid lime Rs. 13000/- Kg. The Lifting and Loading charges @Rs. 2.00/plants will have to be borne by the applicant. These rates are applicable only for individual farmer. In case of any discrepancy/ambiguity, decision of the Director, ICAR – CCRI, Nagpur will be final.
